We are pleased to announce that the nature tourism program has a new team member. Dan Beckendorf was hired to assist with the Texas MarketMaker program for coastal fishing guides and support other nature tourism program elements. He is based in Sinton and the Welder Wildlife Refuge. Welcome!

Hunt & Fish Event

Earlier this month I had the opportunity to join a wonderful group of outdoor enthusiasts in the Rockport/Corpus Christi area.  Don & Petra Schultz of Green Hornet Guide Services helped host the event which promoted the dove hunting and fishing opportunities in the coastal bend. There were numerous writers and many sponsors and supporters. It is clear the Texas Coastal Bend has a variety of great outdoor experiences and quality fishing and other guides to enhance ones experience.
